The Faculty of Law, Thammasat University (TU Law) and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) are pleased to offer a specialized course on SIAC and Institutional Arbitration. This course is part of an ongoing collaboration between TU Law and SIAC, designed to enhance the understanding and development of international dispute resolution through arbitration.
The course will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the function, importance, and influence of arbitral institutions, particularly SIAC, on the practice and development of international arbitration. It will also discuss the role of SIAC and arbitral institutions as key players in the world of international arbitration. The curriculum covers the administrative role of arbitral institutions in both commercial and investment arbitration, contemporary procedural mechanisms designed to enhance efficiency, and the creation and evolution of arbitral rules and practice notes.
